I am planning a trip to WDW in sept/oct. I was thinking of a 7 or 10 day. My ? is it worth getting the park hopper and the waterpark options if I'm staying for so long? for a solo is it too long a trip to WDW?

Hi Jessica, thanks for the great question.  I have to tell you, I always recommend the hopper pass, and I have never felt that I wasted money by adding that option.  The real reason is that I sometimes find myself ready to leave one park, but not ready to go back to the resort.  I am just ready for a change, and with the hopper option I can just head on over to the next park.  I really can't say enough about how great an option I believe it is!
As far as how long is too long?  That is a tough one.  There is no doubt that on a solo trip you can definitely accomplish more at a quicker pace, but there is still so much to do other than go to theme and water parks.  There is shopping at Downtown Disney, spa treatments, golf, tennis, etc.  The list just goes on and on.  Can you accomplish a lot in seven days, solo?  Absolutely, but if you have the time for 10 days, why not go ahead and stay.
I hope you have a great time this fall!
