    We are planning our 4th trip to WDW in September and I want to plan a mom/teen outing and dad/toddler outing. Any suggestions for the girls special day(her 14th bday) and boys(1.5yr. old and 3.5 yr. old). Thinking a few hours, staying at Riverside.Thanks

    What a great idea to schedule a day for your teen and toddlers to enjoy that special time with their parents, Jason! I have a fourteen-year-old daughter myself and I surprised her on our last trip with Afternoon Tea at Garden View Tea Room located in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. She absolutely loved dining on delectable scones, tea sandwiches and sipping tea as we enjoyed the quiet conversation away from her "little brothers." You may also consider booking a spa treatment at The Spa at Disney's Saratoga Springs for a little pampering. Follow the links I have provided to learn more about both of these experiences. For the boys, I would recommend heading to Downtown Disney via the Sassagoula River Cruise and visiting the LEGO Imagination Center where young guests can explore and build their own LEGO creation in the outdoor play area. My boys love pairing a trip to LEGO Imagination Center followed by lunch at T-REX Café at Downtown Disney.You may also want to stay closer to home by spending a few hours exploring the many recreational activities at DIsney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Whether you try your hand at cane pole fishing at Ol' Man Island (catch and release policy), renting bikes, or exploring one of the many pools on property, I'm sure your boys will love spending an afternoon enjoying the great outdoors!
