We are planning a trip to WDW in September 2009. Will we be able to view the Magic Kingdom Fireworks from the grounds of the Wilderness Lodge? Thanks, love your info.

    Hi Beth,

Yahoo on your upcoming trip. The Wilderness Lodge is our Vacation Club resort and the beauty of this resort hits you from the minute you step into the towering and gorgeous lobby. One of the reasons the Wilderness Lodge is so breath-taking and peaceful is because of the number of large trees and pines that surround the resort just about everywhere you look. Unfortunately when it comes to viewing Magic Kingdom's Wishes, these same trees prevent a good view of the show. You can see small portion of the show for a few spots in the front of the resort and occasionally back by the boat dock, but we have yet to find a location that provides anything more than a glimpse of the show.

If you do not want to view the show from Magic Kingdom itself, a better choice would be to visit the Grand Floridian or Polynesian resort. Both of these locations are near the Wilderness Lodge and will provide great views of Wishes from their beaches. Hope you have a magical trip!
