Hello MOMS. We are planning a trip to WDW in Sept of 2013. We are planning to stay in either POR or PORFQ. my question is. For both hotels, I want to stay in a prefered area close to the main building and buses. Which buildings would best for both hotels

    Hi Lucille!
Disney's Port Orleans, Riverside or French Quarter boast amazing decor evocative of Southern tranquility and Louisiana Mardi Gras!  Located on the banks of the Sassagoula River, both resorts offer guests enjoyable experiences in both amenities and themeing.
Due to the size of POFQ, there really are no preferred rooms, per se.  Building four happens to be close to the buses and food courts, as well as the ferry and Doubloon Lagoon.  It really is no more than a five minute walk from any building to the food court or pool, as POFQ is a smaller, more intimate resort.
With POR, your getting quite the opposite.  Being double the size of POFQ, you have a much longer walk to access amenities.  Your preferred rooms are located in the Alligator Bayou, lodges 14, 15, 18, and 27.  There are no preferred rooms in the Mansions.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
