Planning 2nd trip to WDW. The Pop Century says it has either 2 double beds or 1 king in their rooms. Is there a way to make sure you get 2 doubles when making your reservation? I realize requests are just that and are not guaranteed, want to be sure.

Hi Cheryl! Thanks for visiting the Mom's Panel! I called Disney Reservations to verify my information and the cast member I spoke with said that although room location requests cannot be guaranteed, requesting a specific bed configuration should not be a problem. The cast member also stated that they do look at how many are in your party size, so they would never put a party of three or four in a room with one king bed. You are absolutely correct that the rooms at Disney's Pop Century Resort feature two double beds or one king bed. When making your reservation, let the cast member know your room configuration request. If you will only have two people in your travel party, you may want to explain that you will need the two double bed set-up rather than one king in your Resort room.  You can also make your request in the comment section if booking online. I would also recommend calling your resort 4-10 days prior to arrival to make sure your room request is correct in your reservation and ask for "back office" or "room assignments."  By asking for "back office" or "room assignments,"  guests can talk with the right person at the specific resort.  I have never had a problem arriving on our Disney Vacations and not getting two beds as we had requested. I hope this helps! Please write back if you have any other questions that I can assist you with! Best wishes for a Magical Trip!
