We are planning a trip to WDW in October 2009. At that time our baby will be four months old. How many rides can we carry him on? I looked up each ride individually. Does the fun for everyone category mean that he can ride? We will be visiting all parks

    Hi Bethany,

You will be amazed at how many things your family can enjoy with your young son. While I am not sure of the exact number, there are numerous attractions that you will be able to carry him on and sit him in your lap. Many attractions, like It's a Small World, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Great Movie Ride,  and Living with the Land, have bench style seating in a boat or car and you can all ride in the same row. Attractions like, Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Nemo and friends and Journey Into Imagination, have individual cars that fits two to three guests in each car and your son can be kept on your lap.

While each child is different and will react to the attractions differently, any attraction that does not have a height requirement can be enjoyed while holding your son. If you have concerns that the attraction may be to loud or dark, consider skipping that attraction or taking turns waiting with the baby, however you will most likely find when the attraction says fun for everyone-it really is for everyone, including the baby. My boys have been enjoying the Disney World attractions since they were also four months old and we had a great time.

Don't forget, there are a number of shows, like Voyage of the Little Mermaid, The Country Bear Jamboree and  Honey I Shrunk the Audience, as well as parades and fireworks that can be enjoyed by guests of all ages.

    Wishing you a magical time!
