We are planning a trip to WDW october of 2017, but debating about where is best to stay. We will have a 4 year old and a 3 year old. Are strollers allowed on the monorail? Or would a resort with the bus be best?

    Hi there Nicole!

How exciting to be planning a Walt Disney World vacation for 2017!  I am happy to report that strollers are allowed on the monorail. When my children were younger, I loved being able to easily travel to Magic Kingdom Park when staying at one of the resorts on the Resort Monorail loop because we did not have to collapse our stroller when riding the monorail.  As a mom of twins, I found it to be much more challenging to travel on the buses with two young children and a stroller.  For example, when we returned to our resort late at night and the kids were sleepy, my husband would collapse the stroller and carry it onto the bus while I had to get both children onto the bus. If possible, I would recommend staying at one of the Magic Kingdom Area resorts that offer monorail transportation especially if you are planning to spend most of your time at Magic Kingdom Park. I hope this information helps in making the best decision for your family. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical trip, Nicole!

    Happy Planning,
