    I am planning a trip to WDW in October 2015 and want to take advantage of the water park/park hopper option but wondered if the water parks are both open during the month of October?

    Hi, Erica! While the dates haven't been released for your 2015  trip yet, I can tell you about this year so you will have an idea of typical closure dates. Only one Water Park undergoes refurbishment at a time. Both of them are open through most of October. However, if your trip is near the end of the month, one of them might be closed. For example, this year Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will be closed for its annual refurbishment October 26 through December 20, 2014. Blizzard Beach Water Park will close for its annual refurbishment January 4 through March 3, 2015. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
