We are planning a trip to WDW mid July. We will be traveling with a 5 yr old boy. Will be 1st trip. We are looking at hotels/motels off WDW.Does anyone know anything about the Seralogo? Also, would like to make it memorable. Must sees? Tips?

Hi, Melinda!  I love first trips!  How exciting that you'll get to share the magic of Walt Disney World with your special little prince!

The Seralago Resort in Kissimmee is a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor hotel.  I actually had the chance to visit the resort a few months ago when my brother and his family stayed there.  The room they had was clean, and they offered microwaves and refrigerators in each room.  The room my brother had also had a divider that offered some privacy for mom and dad after the kdis went to bed.  They have a complimentary shuttle that goes back and forth to the theme parks, but check the schedule.  It's a very limited run, and you may need to consider alternative transportation.

Must sees for a five year old include Toy Story Midway Mania and Disney Junior Live at Disney's Hollywood Studios; Buzz Lightyear, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Mickey's Philharmagic at the Magic Kingdom; the Kiliminjaro Safari and Rafiki's Planet Watch at Disney's Animal Kingdom; and Journey to Imagination and Innoventions at EPCOT.  Don't forget the parades and fireworks!

If you want to make it memorable, you could add a character meal.  Chef Mickey's is very popular for breakfast and dinner, and great fun for the whole family.  My girls also love the Cape May Character Breakfast at the Beach Club resort.

I hope your first trip is absolutely magical!
