Hello Moms! I am planning a trip to WDW in May 2015 and will be staying at POP! I am looking for some information on booking dining reservations. If I purchase the dining plan will I still enter my credit card information to hold the Reservation? Thank you

    Hi Olivia,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  If you ask me, it's never too early to start making plans for your next Walt Disney World vacation.  In fact, I think planning is half the fun!  You will be able to make your dining reservations 180 days before your check-in date by going online or calling (407) WDW-DINE (939-3163).  Since you're staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you'll also be able to make dining reservations for up to 10 days of your stay at that 180-day mark, which is a fantastic perk.

A credit card will be required when you make your dining reservation, even if you're using the Disney Dining Plan, but this is only as a guarantee.  Your card will not be charged unless you don't arrive for your reservation or don't cancel within the time window required.  A few spots, such as the dinner shows and Cinderella's Royal Table, may require advance payment in full, but those are exceptions to the rule.

Wishing you pixie-dusted vacation planning!  Please let us know if we can help answer any other questions.
