Planning a trip to WDW in July. Will I be able to ride a Mears bus from Airport to resort and back again?

    Susan,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

Yes, you absolutely can use the Mears Connect service to go from the Orlando International Airport (Airport code: MCO) to your Disney resort and back.

While several Magical Express-like services have appeared in recent months since the conclusion of the program, for me the Mears Connect service most closely matches the old Magical Express service. Of course, it is not free, but it is one of the more affordable options out there. I recently used this service, and it was practically identical to Magical Express. My wait times were about the same as with the Magical Express service, and they also have an expedited version, so look at both options. The pickup locations in the airport and at the resorts are the same as in the past, so if you have used Magical Express in the past you should find it all very familiar.

I do recommend you book with Mears as soon as you can via their site. Then you can start preparing for the fun!

    BONUS TIP
On my last trip I arrived at the resort at 10 am in the morning, well before check-in time. Remember that if you use the Online Check-In service, you don't even have to stop by the front desk after dropping off your bags. Instead, you will be sent a text when your room is ready, telling you the room number at that time on your My Disney Experience App. All you need to do is gather your bags from the Bell Services desk when you get back to the hotel after all that fun in the parks!

Write me back if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
