I am planning a trip to WDW with my husband and 3 kids at the end of 2011. have read the unofficial guide book and it suggests visiting during the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas break while kids are norm in school to avoid the long lines/ true?

True! The weeks after Thanksgiving and before school's Christmas break are among the best weeks of the year to visit Walt Disney World!!

While these weeks are slowly being discovered for the great time that they are, they are still less crowded than many weeks of the year.

In addition, to the lower crowds, you'll all see the parks and resorts decorated for the holidays. This is one of the most wonderful times to see the parks - the decorations, special touches and events are top notch. If they don't put you in the holiday mood, I don't know what will!

And, last, but not least, the weather has tempered from the summer high temperatures to a great temp to tour the parks!

Hope this helps with your planning!
