Hi there, Kim! Thanks so much for visiting us here at planDisney!
You're just a month away from all the action and I bet you're getting really excited! I WISH I had a trip coming up so soon! February is a beautiful time to visit
Walt Disney World Resort. The weather is mild, but the sun is bright and you're just in time for the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts!
I'll give you my two cents, if it were up to me, I would always go with the
Park Hopper Option! I simply can't remember a visit where we haven't "park-hopped." My family and I love to hit the ground running at one park in the morning, cruise back to our
Disney Resorts Collection hotel for a dip in the pool (or maybe even a nap!) in the afternoon, and then take in the sparkling sights of a different park in the evening.
If you first purchase a
Standard Theme Park ticket, you'll be able to visit one park per day. You should be able to upgrade this to the Park Hopper Option right on your
My Disney Experience account, but if you're already at the Resort when you make this decision, you can always stop by Guest Relations if you need help. As long as you have unused days left on your standard ticket you should be able to upgrade to a Park Hopper Option even after you arrive.
No matter which option you choose, you'll need a
Park Pass Reservation for the first park you will enter that day. If you do plan on hopping, you can do so any time after 2 p.m. and you don't need a reservation for the second park!
Happy Hopping!
