Hi! Planning a trip to WDW for Feb. 20-25, 2012 for a party of 9. Our 1st Disney trip was Nov. 2010 (Thanksgiving) and it was quite busy. How do the Feb. dates compare to the Nov. dates in relation to crowds and weather? Thanks so much!

    Hi Nikki!

Personally, I love February at Walt Disney World! I think you'll find its quite a good time to visit if you're looking for (historically) low crowds in comparison to Thanksgiving week!

Typically, nearly all of February enjoys low crowds as schools are in session throughout the United States. The only exception to this is President's Week which is often a school holiday - especially in the Northeastern part of the country. President's Week will see some increased crowds, but it is not usually nearly as crowded as Thanksgiving.

Weather-wise, February is most often a great time to visit. While the late nights and early mornings can call for a sweatshirt, we've been able to swim on just about every February vacation we've taken. Days are warmer and with the heated pools at Walt Disney World, you'll still be able to enjoy the water. Plus, its nice to tour the parks without the summer sun!

Hope you have fun planning your vacation!
