    Hello, we are planning a trip to WDW for December 2014. We will get a package(hotel and park tickets) but needed to know when we would have to decide and purchase the DDP and add Park Hopper onto tickets. Thank you so much for your time and help! :)

    Hi, Michael! You're welcome! We're glad to be of assistance to other Guests. I'm so happy you asked this question before you arrived for your vacation and were disappointed.  Guests cannot add the Disney Dining Plans to their reservation upon check-in.  Any Disney Dining Plan can be added up to three days prior to your arrival date.  So, if you want to add a Dining Plan, you must do so three or more days BEFORE your check-in date. You can, however, add the Park Hopper option at any point before or during your trip.  Once on-site, simply visit the Guest Services at your Resort, or you can visit the Guest Services at any theme park or water park to upgrade your ticket.  It is a flat fee, so the cost is the same whether you decide to do this on your first day or last day.  So, if you are seriously considering it, I would do it sooner than later to get the full benefit of the Park Hopping option.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
