We are planning a trip to WDW from 6/29-7/3. How crowded will it be this week? We are concerned since we will travel with a 4 & 2 yr olds. Also, what resort would you suggest at the moderate resorts? My 2 yr old takes her afternoon naps still.

    Hi Savyvann,

I love that you are thinking about your trip already! The crowds will be fairly heavy during this time period as the children are out of school, and you are leading into the Fourth of July celebration. Also, the weather will be hot as the humidity is in full swing.

As for a moderate resort, I would recommend Port Orleans Riverside. It is small and quiet and centrally located to all of the main resorts. Ask for a room in the mansions of Magnolia Bend.

I would however recommend that you look at a deluxe hotel which is on the monorail or over at the Boardwalk or Yacht and Beach Club. I say this because you will be traveling back and forth for your daughter's nap. Port Orleans and all the moderates are only serviced by motorcoaches to the parks. This could be tough to juggle a child and stroller by yourself as you head back to the resort.

By choosing a deluxe, you would have the option of the monorail or boats as a means of transportation to at least two parks. This would allow you to leave your princess in the stroller as you head back for a nap.

    Have a great trip!
