Hi there! We're planning a trip to WDW beginning Nov. 6, 2014. Will the Christmas parades, events have begun then and if so, what kinds of special events will take place? Is there a spot I can view this on the website? Thanks!

    Hi Jennifer,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Celebrating the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort is extra magical. As soon as Halloween ends, Cast Members begin working their magic to dress up the theme parks for the holidays. One of my favorite videos on the Official YouTube Channel for Disney Parks is Time-Lapse Video: Magic Kingdom Park Decorated for the Holidays, with a behind-the-magic look at how Magic Kingdom Park transitions from Halloween to the holidays. The remarkable transformation is done virtually overnight by a very talented group of Cast Members. It is amazing! Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom park begins on November 7, 2014. For a full list of special events, visit Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. Please let me know if you have any other questions that I can assist you with before your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a magical day!
