Hi, we are planning a trip to Walt Disney World In September. We are looking at staying at the Poly, the Beach Club or the Aminal Kingdom with a 4 year old. I have hear you can see the fireworks from some of the resorts, are any of these on the list?

    Hi Kara!

WOW! Those are all great resort choices! And you've picked a great time of year to visit as well! I'm jealous!!

Of those three resorts, the best view of any fireworks will be from the Polynesian. The beach and pool areas (and many resort rooms) are wonderful spots to take in the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. I especially love to relax near the beach and let my son play in the sand while we wait for the show to begin!  AND, of course, the Polynesian has a great location - that may just be a deciding factor!

From the Beach Club, you may be able to catch a few small glimpses of the Illuminations fireworks at Epcot, but I've found that you'll only really be able to see the tallest fireworks and only in a few select spots.

As for Animal Kingdom Lodge - the answer, unfortunately, is that you won't be able to catch the fireworks from any park. One lucky time, we happened to cross the interior lobby bridge at JUST the right moment and saw a few glimpses from far, far away - but I honestly don't even know what park it was. And it certainly wasn't a good view!

Hope this helps! Have a great time!
