I am planning a trip to Walt Disney World. I purchased the tickets from AAA and registered them on the Disney website. Is there anything more I need to do in advance of my arrival at the Animal Kingdom. How do I obtain the actual tickets.

    Hi Arthur,

Embarking on your adventure through Disney’s Animal Kingdom is easier than ever, thanks to Disney’s seamless and tech-friendly tools. With just your phone, you’ll be ready to explore the wonders of nature and the magic of Disney! Begin by downloading the My Disney Experience app and making sure that the tickets you linked are showing in the app. From there, your digital theme park tickets, dining plans, and more will be ready to guide you through every trail, jungle, and savanna, no paper needed. For even more convenience, let Disney MagicMobile add an extra roar of magic to your day.

The Disney MagicMobile service works hand-in-hand with the My Disney Experience app, letting you add a pass to your phone’s wallet. This all-in-one digital key gives you access to theme park tickets, PhotoPass memories, virtual queues, Lightning Lane entries, and even Mobile Food & Beverage Orders. No need for physical tickets, just link your tickets to the app, and you’re ready to roam! At most park entrances, simply hold your phone near the scanner, and like magic, you’ll be welcomed into the adventure without even unlocking your device.

One last thing to check before you put your safari gear on is whether or not the ticket type you purchased requires theme park reservations. If you purchased a date-based 1-day ticket or a date-based multi-day ticket, you do not need a theme park reservation. Simply wake up and head over to Animal Kingdom. If you purchased an Annual Pass, student group ticket, Disney Military Salute Ticket, or Sport and Convention ticket, you will need to make theme park reservations in your My Disney account ahead of your visit.

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
