hi we are planning a trip to Walt Disney and will more then likely be there over Chirstmas. Is it really necessary to make reservations for dinners, or can we just walk in and be able to get a place..what do you suggest?

    Jennifer,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but you absolutely want to get as many Advanced Dining Reservations for your time at Walt Disney World as you think you will use. The Christmas season is the single busiest time of the year there, and table service restaurants will be booked solid.

If you don't make reservations, you will have to do all your dining at quick service (counter) restaurants. Not that is not such a horrible thing, as they have many wonderful options in that area, but if you want some table service meals too, make sure you plan accordingly.

If you would like some ideas, feel free to send me a follow-up questions with information on your food likes/dislikes, where you will be (park, resort, etc.) for each meal, and whether you want table service, quick service, character meal, etc.

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
