Planning our 2014 trip. Trying to decided between POR Royal Room and CBR. Party is me, DH and DD6. DH thinks CBR is more kid friendly, I think she would love the Room. We do have resort time scheduled so it's not just the room. Can u break the tie?

    Greetings Tracy!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting you are planning your 2014 Walt Disney World vacation!

I have personally stayed at both Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and in a Royal Guest Room at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Although both resorts offer unique theming and fun recreational activities, I honestly prefer Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort for the relaxing atmosphere, diverse recreational offerings, and being able to travel to Downtown Disney via the Sassagoula River Cruise (water taxi.) The Royal Guest Rooms are beautifully decorated with special touches left behind by several Disney Princesses.  My favorite recreational activities offered at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort include catch and release fishing, Campfire on de’ Bayou, horse-drawn carriage rides, bike and boat rentals, and several pools to choose from.  I would suggest checking out the independent website portorleans.org to view photos of the Royal Guest Rooms and to learn more about this amazing property. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort definitely has a fun tropical setting, but my personal recommendation would be to book a Royal Guest Room for your little princess! I hope this information helps in making your decision. Please don't hesitate to write me back if you have any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Tracy!

    Happy Planning,
