Hi Tami,
I hope you're having a BLAST dreaming about your trip later this year! The
holiday season is such a magical time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, and I just know that the sights, sounds, and even smells of the season will bring you and your loved ones so much joy!
How fun that you will be celebrating something special during your visit, too! I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble adding your celebration through the website, but I'm happy to let you know that all you'll need to do is
call a friendly Cast Member and they'll be happy to take care of that for you. Don't forget to ask for complimentary celebration buttons once you arrive, too! You'll find that with your buttons visible, Cast Members (and even some Guests!) will love celebrating along with you!
As for face coverings, unfortunately we don't know how much longer they'll be commonplace. They're simply one of the many ways that Walt Disney World Resort is committed to the
health and safety of all of the Guests and Cast Members. You can certainly keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any changes to the face covering policy, but all Guests ages two and up are currently
required to wear face coverings over their mouths and noses at all times except while eating or drinking in a stationary location, swimming, or taking a break at a relaxation station. My friends and fellow panelists shared some
fantastic, must-read tips about face coverings during a Disney vacation that I hope you'll find helpful!
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, Tami, and please come see us again with any other questions you may have as you're putting together all the pieces of your trip! I hope that you and your entire crew have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
