We are planning our trip to stay at the animal kingdom lodge on our trip. Is there a time of year that is more conducive for seeing the animals? or not?

    Hi Anthony!

Our family has been lucky enough to be able to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge at a few different times of the year and the animal viewing has always been spectacular! The animals are nearly always out on the Savannas grazing and relaxing. You'll be able to see zebras, giraffe, wildebeest and many other animals during all times of the year!

During the day, the animals will have differing levels of activity due to the heat. During the hot parts of the Florida summer day, you will be more likely to see them resting in the shade or near the watering areas. In the mornings, they may be most active (perfect to wake up to !!!).

I hope this helps! And don't forget to check out the night vision goggles at the lodge as well. They are a very unique way to check out the animals at night!
