We are planning a trip in September. My 3 year old graddaughter loves The Little Mermaid. Are there any meals with these characters?

You're in luck! Ariel does make appearances at the Princess Storybook character dining experience at the Akershus at Epcot. Since she is walking around the restaurant, greeting guests, Ariel is in her human form at the restaurant, wearing her wedding dress. To make reservations for this meal, call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE.

If your daughter wants to meet Ariel in her mermaid form, you could take her to Ariel's Grotto in the Magic Kingdom. There is no charge to meet Ariel here, but I should warn you that the line is often quite long. If you want to see Ariel at the Grotto, I suggest being there when it opens in the morning. Check the free Times Guide as you enter the park to see the exact hours of this experience.

You'll also want to be sure to see the Voyage of the Little Mermaid show at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This is a live, but abbreviated, version of the movie. The special effects in this dedicated theater are incredible. It's a can't miss attraction for me.

    Have a great trip!
