    Hi planning a trip in september, and have seen the limited addition character magic bands. The toy story is a must have for my autistic child because he has seen it. Will they still be available or can i purchase in advance and take it with us?

    Hello, Janelle! MagicBands have made traveling around Walt Disney World Resort so convenient, colorful and fun for children of all ages. The special Disney Character MagicBands are especially exciting because favorite characters are featured right on the band.

    The new Toy Story MagicBand is considered an open edition MagicBand, which simply means there is no limit on the number in production. Whether or not it is still available at any given moment will depend upon how popular this design is with the Guests.

    Some solid color MagicBands and accessories can be purchased online from the Disney Store, but currently, the graphic MagicBands can only be purchased at select retail locations at the Walt Disney World Resort.

    One way to guarantee that your child has a Toy Story themed MagicBand before your trip is to personalize one for him. I've spent hours browsing through the many creative designs that people have created using paint, nail polish, and even temporary tattoos.
