Hiya Melissa!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
Melissa, I am beyond thrilled for your upcoming visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth! Soon, you’ll be walking down Main Street, U.S.A as you stop to take in the delightful aroma of coffee and treats at
Main Street Bakery. Perhaps after grabbing a brewed concoction, you’ll head straight for it:
Cinderella Castle, newly designed and gleaming in all its magical glory!
You’re right about
Magic Kingdom Park’s hours being from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during your visit. I
contacted a Cast Member to be sure and was told the Theme Park hours are operating as stated on the
Park Hours Calendar. Although sometimes the Parks might allow Guests to start coming in about 10 minutes or so earlier than the designated opening, I haven’t seen anyone allowed to go in an hour ahead of scheduled opening. Walt Disney World Resort is going above and beyond to keep Guests as safe as they possibly can and to help with that, they’re asking Guests to come at the time stated on their
Disney Park Pass reservations.
I completely understand your need to leisurely browse and shop, Melissa! Because of the reduced capacity in the Theme Parks, I have many friends who are able to spend the day playing in the Parks and still have time to shop. Just remember, no matter how many hours are in a day, don’t try to get it all done at once. I like to make a list of the things that are must-do’s for me and then spend the day soaking up all the magic! You’re sure to have a fabulous time!
Melissa, here’s to a pixie dusted vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
