    If we are planning a trip for September and book the trip now and Disney comes out with a Free Dining Plan for the time we are there, will we also receive the free Dining Plan with trip that was already booked?

    Thanks for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about discounts and changes.

    The great news is that yes, even if you have a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package, you can update your reservation at any time if a discount opens up for your dates! You are correct that there have historically been some discounts during that time of year, so I would definitely look out for them if I was you. 

    Moms Panel tip - You can make Advanced Dining Reservations up to 180 days in advance of the first day of your vacation package, and then if your plans change and you don't have free dining, you can always modify your plans at that time. Be sure that if you want to cancel anything that you check the cancellation window so that you don't get charged.
