We are planning a trip the second week of December 2010. How are the crowds that time of year. We went in September 2008 and there were no crowds to speak of but it was very hot. Just wondering if the crowds would be about the same at that time in December

Hey, Bridget!  My absolute favorite time of year to go to Walt Disney World is in December!  I don't think you will find the crowds quite as light as the September crowds, but they are certainly not too bad.

The weather at that time of year can be a little unpredictable.  When I lived in Orlando, our first December there was just as cold as it is here in Jersey!  But typically, you can expect comfortable day time temperatures in the low to mid 70s with low humidity, then a nice cool evening.

If you want to take advantage of some of the wonderful December activities you'll find at Walt Disney World in December, that may be another way to beat some of the crowds.  We find that lines very reasonable during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and by booking the EPCOT Candlelight Processional Dinner package, we generally have great seating for this beautiful holiday experience.

    Have a wonderful trip!
