We are planning a trip in 2013 and I am a reseacher to the end! We are wanting to surprise the kids ages 8 and 6. We are looking for ways to surprise them...Any ideas?? I just hope I can hold out and not spill the beans before hand! Thanks!

    Hi Jaimee,

The Moms LOVE Disney researchers. As you move forward, keep letting us know how we can help!

There are countless ways to surprise your kids with a Disney trip. When my oldest daughter was in kindergarten, we arrived at school pick-up in a limo to take her to the airport. She got a big kick out of that.

There are some wonderful ideas that other guests have contributed in the "surprise" section of the Let the Memories Begin video campaign. You may want to poke around there for inspiration.

    Here are some starter ideas:

    - Pack them in the car and tell them you're going somewhere else.
    - Plan a scavenger hunt, with trip tickets as the surprise at the end.
    - Create a simple word search or crossword puzzle with Disney trip clues.
    - Have a bouquet of Mickey Mouse balloons delivered to them.
    - Wrap up Mickey ears and put them under the Christmas tree.
    - Send them a special certificate from a "character."
    - Plan a full day of Disney movies and bring out a cake with "we're going to Disney World."
    - Make Mickey-shaped pancakes for breakfast and break the news.
    - Make them t-shirts that say "we're going to Disney World."

The possibilities are endless. Have a great time planning!
