Hi, Barbara!
Thanks for checking in with the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I know how tough it can be to find a table for seven people at some of the most popular restaurants. My first piece of advice is to check and see if you can get
similar restaurant reservations if you used two tables. If that is the case, you might be able to get to the restaurant early and see if you can sit near each other. Another way to investigate reservations is to check regularly and see if additional large tables open up. Some people cancel their reservations as they get closer to the dining dates.
I wouldn't recommend trying to snag a table on the day of your visit. There may be a slight chance there's an opening, but you also may end up hungry and with some grumpy people in your group who are disappointed they can't get into the restaurant. I would know, I tried that once with my family! I know some Disney Guests who were able to get last second reservations, but that is rare.
I hope those tips offer you a little extra insight into snagging tables for your group. I hope you have a fabulous visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
