We were planning our trip to Orlando from August 14 - August 21, but we decided to postpone our vacation until Covid improves. My family of 4 purchased three days at Disney. Is it possible to use my tickets at a future date ? Do they expire ?

I’m delighted to welcome you to planDisney, Todd!

Thanks so much for bringing your question our way.

Sometimes the clock strikes midnight on our plans, and I completely understand you putting your family’s health and safety first. However, I do want to assure you that as soon as you’re ready to embark on your adventures to Walt Disney World Resort, the magic will be here and ready to welcome you!

I’m also happy to put your mind and hEARt at ease— although theme park tickets are nonrefundable, you can change the dates on your tickets in your My Disney Experience account! If your tickets were to expire by the time you’d like to visit, you can use the value of a wholly unused ticket toward the purchase of another ticket for a future date.

If you know the date you’d like to visit in the future, I can show you…the world, just kidding, a little Disney music humor for ya! I’m happy to show you how to change the dates of your tickets in your My Disney Experience Mobile app:

-Open up your My Disney Experience Mobile app
-Tap on the three horizontal lines at the bottom right corner of the screen
-Select “Tickets and Passes” and then locate the tickets you would like to modify
-Under the ticket, you should see “Change Ticket”
-Follow the steps to change the dates of your tickets and then hit confirm! You're all set!

If the option to change your ticket isn’t there, I recommend calling and speaking to a friendly Cast Member at Existing Tickets who will be happy to adjust the dates for you! And do be sure to keep in mind that Guests need both theme park tickets and Disney Park Pass reservations to enter the parks. So before you're selecting your new dates, be sure to check for Theme Park Availability first, and then make those Disney Park Pass reservations as soon as you can since they're subject to availability.

Todd, we can’t wait to welcome you to the magic when you’re ready!
