Linda from MI Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

i am planning a trip with one adult in a room for part of trip, then more family for another part of same trip. ar the room rates the same no matter how many people are in the room?

    Hey there, Linda!

I have great news for you! When you are staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you are paying for the room, not the number of people, so the price will not change with additional members of your party.

There are a few important things to note here: Everyone must be listed on the reservation, so you will still need to add the latecomers to your reservation in your My Disney Experience Account. You will also want to make sure that they will not exceed the capacity in your room, otherwise, you may have to purchase an extra room or upgrade to a family suite, or another unit with a larger capacity.

The one exception to this rule is if you booked a special rate through a group or conference, and not on your own. In this case, there may be an additional charge for each extra person in the room, although the fee is usually nominal.

I hope that this answered your question, Linda. Please come back here if we can help you decide where to play, stay, or dine at Walt Disney World Resort.

    See you real soon!
