We are planning a trip in October 2014. I am hoping a free dining plan promotion will be offered. Should I book our stay now and add a dining plan later if no promotion is offered or should I just wait?

    Hi Alison,

Thank you for contacting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Many Guests love the convenience the Disney Dining Plan allows. Unfortunately, no one knows when fantastic promotions like the Free Dining Plan you mentioned will be offered. In the past they have been in the fall, but there are no guarantees if or when they will come back each year. That being said, you can certainly go ahead and book your Disney Resort Hotel stay now and see what offers may come up since your Walt Disney World vacation is not scheduled until October.

Please keep in mind not all Disney Resort Hotels allow participation with the Dining Plan, so you will want to speak with a Disney Cast Member to make sure your Resort is eligible. If you are eligible, you must add the Dining Plan to your reservation a minimum of three days before your arrival date. A Disney Cast Member can assist you in adjusting your existing reservation. You will need to contact Disney Resort Hotel Reservations at (407) 939-1936.

If you have any follow-up questions, please send them to me and I will be happy to assist you further.

    Have a magical day,

    Bob A.
