I am planning a trip for October with my family, one 3 yr. old and one 6 yr. old. I am wondering where is a better spot to stay one of the pop century hotels or the Caribbean or Coronado hotel. Which hotel takes less time to get to MGM, MK, and AK.

    Hi Heather!

Choosing between Pop Century, Caribbean Beach and Coronado Springs resorts is a tough choice because they are all wonderful! The choice really depends on your budget and what you are looking for. I haven't stayed at Pop Century, but I was an All Star Movies junkie and stayed three three years in a row. The theme is extremely cute, especially for Toy Story fans, the pool is awesome and the food court offers lots of options. If you don't plan to spend a lot of time in  your room, Pop Century may be good choice for your family.

My personal favorite resort at Walt Disney World is Coronado Springs. It is a moderate resort and well worth the extra expense. There is a fitness facility, spa, elaborate pool with slide and beautiful lake with a jogging trail. This resort is closest to Hollywood Studios, but it is a close bus ride away from all of the parks.

However, given that you are visiting in October 2012, you have an even better option - the new Art of Animation Resort, which will be a value resort built on Pop Century property. Family suites will be available beginning May 2012, with standard rooms set to open December 2012. This resort will have Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, Cars and The Lion King animation themes. This resort is close to Disney's Hollywood Studios. I would definitely choose this resort to be one of the first to check out the amazing pools, theming and family suites!

No matter where you stay, I know you will have a magical stay!
    Magically,
