    I am planning out our trip for October. In building an itinerary I came across 2 problems. 1. the site (my Disney Vacation) is not saving what I have done and 2. Illuminations was on the calender in October but now it is not. Is it shutting down then?

    Obviously I am not the webmaster, but I think I know what you are experiencing.

    For your first problem, I do know that the "My Vacation" part of the Walt Disney World website has been undergoing some upgrades. As such, they have posted in some places that in this process your vacation planning might get erased. But while this is an inconvenience for planning, it should not wipe out any dining or resort reservations that you might have done.

    As for IllumiNations, I can't imagine they are suspending the show. When looking at the calendar it seems to me that their systems simply have not fed in the times for that event, or many of the live acts in the World Showcase area for that matter. I would not worry about it not playing, and would count on it being held every night, probably around the time that the park officially "closes".
