    We are planning a trip in Oct and just noticed that my favoroite ride Its A Small World will be closed! :'( I have not been to MK in over 20 years and was so excited to share that experrience with my kids! Any chance of it opening sooner then they say?

    I feel your pain!  We, too, will be visiting in October and my daughters were very disappointed that their favorite ride would not be open.

    It's always possible that the refurbishment will be completed ahead of schedule, so certainly keep an eye out while you are there.  However, I honestly wouldn't count on it.  I've always found Disney to be pretty accurate with their refurbishment time frames.  Opening a day or two early might happen, but a week or two is pretty unlikely, from what I have seen.

    I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I trust that you will find many other wonderful attractions to enjoy on your vacation.  A lot has changed in the last 20 years!
