I am planning a trip Nov 10-16 and wondering what Christmas decorations and shows and parades etc are a must see. Also how do you get military discount tickets for the Very Merry Christmas Party?

Hi, Kelly!  The holidays will just be getting into full swing as the parks and resorts gear up as it gets closer to Thanksgiving.  I can't even tell you for certain yet what options will be available in terms of resort decorations, but the Magic Kingdom will be fully decked out - except for the largest of the Christmas trees - by November 6th, and the other theme parks will likely follow suit.  The resorts can take a little bit longer, but do spend some time visiting.  You may get to see the life sized gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian or the gorgeous decorations at the other resorts.

There are select nights that are discounted for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for active and retired military guests.  The discounted nights are November 9, 12, 15, 27, and 29 and December 2.  You can purchase the tickets at the ticket window at the Magic Kingdom, with your military ID in hand.

I hope you have a wonderful time!
