Planning on a trip for 11 nights, how can I have different people on the reservation for only part of the stay?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Kathryn.

You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! Can you believe your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation is only a few months away? Before you know it, you'll be right in the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. with a churro in hand gazing upon Cinderella Castle dressed in her 50th Anniversary Celebration finest. You know, it's never too early to start your countdown!

Wow! 11 days will give you ample opportunity to soak up all the sights, sounds, smells, and fun of The Most Magical Place on Earth. I'm excited to hEAR you're planning to stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel during your trip. There are countless benefits to staying on site, so I think you've made the next right choice. I know the sooner you book your Resort reservation, the better, so let me relay the information I obtained from Guest Services today.

I understand you want to add additional Guests onto your reservation for only a portion of your stay. Unfortunately, there is not a way to add a Guest to a reservation for only a select number of days at this time. They will instead be added for the entirety of the Resort reservation, which means your nightly rate could go up depending on how it affects the occupancy of your room. Additionally, if you booked a package, the additional Guest will be assigned and charged for a ticket too.

Not to worry though, there may be a solution! You could split your reservation by booking two separate back-to-back Resort reservations, one for the portion of your trip with the extra Guest and one for the portion without them. However, this option could potentially equate to you having to pack up and move rooms at the end of the first reservation of your trip. To hopefully avoid this, speak with the Front Desk Cast Members when you check in for your Resort reservation and ask if it's possible to remain in the same room for the entirety of your stay. They will do their best to meet your request, though it's not a guarantee.

Kathryn, I hope this information proves helpful. If you have further questions, please stop back by planDisney. We'd be happy to help!

    See ya real soon,
    Alyssa
