Planning a trip next year, Nov 2020, most likely travel the 2nd or 3rd week of November. Will Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween still be going on or will Mickey's holiday be taking place? Also when do tickets usually go on sale for this?

Hi from one Ohioan to another, Sheila! Welcome!

My family and I love visiting the Walt Disney World Resort anytime of year, but some of our favorite trips have been during the special holiday parties that take place at Magic Kingdom.

The past two years we've loved every spook-tacular moment of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! While the 2020 dates are not yet available, I can tell you that the party only runs through Halloween and sometimes a couple days after. The party continues through November first this year. Then, the park begins to magically transform into a winter wonderland throughout the next couple of days. By the second week of November, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is usually kicking off with snow on Main Street and hot chocolate to hold while we watch the toy soldiers in the parade. It's one of my favorite times to visit! This year, the festivities begin on November 8.

I don't have an exact date for when the tickets will go on sale and which dates will feature this party, but watch the Walt Disney World website or follow Disney Parks Blog and hopefully in March or April of 2020 we'll find out about the ticket sales, as that is typically when they've begun in previous years. Some dates do sell out quickly, so once you know when you want to experience the party, go ahead and purchase those tickets!

Have such fun planning this adventure, Sheila!
