We are planning a trip for next September to celebrate my son's senior year. Can you get 2 rooms that are joined instead of paying the high amount for a villa? Want to take advantage of staying on site and possible free dining. Can you help?

Regular connecting rooms are available at all the WDW resort hotels. If you want connecting rooms, you must be sure to request this in advance when making your reservation. Former Moms Panelist Bret does a wonderful job explaining how to do this HERE.

You should also know that there are other options for larger parties other than connecting rooms and the DVC villa rooms. There are Family Suites at the All Star Music resort. These are units that sleep up to six guests. They have two bathrooms and a small kitchenette with a refrigerator and a microwave. The cabins at Fort Wilderness are also less expensive than many of the villa accommodations. They sleep six, have a full kitchen, and loads of wonderful outdoor space.

    Good luck with your planning!
