Hello! I am planning a trip for next fall (2016) with 2 adults and 3 children. We were hoping to stay in a moderate resort. I wasn't sure what the cheapest, best option would be? Or when the cheapest time to go in the fall is? Thank you

    Howdy Brittny!

A Fall vacation sounds practically perfect.  The weather will be cooler, and the parks will be all decked out for the Halloween holiday.    I hope you have an unforgettable vacation.

I also have a family of 5 and we love Disney's Moderate Resorts.  Our favorites are Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.  Why, you may ask.   Well because the standard rooms at these Resorts sleep five.   They have 2 queen size beds, along with a small pull down trundle style bed that is perfect for a child.   In fact my children often argue about who gets to sleep on it. We often have to play a game of paper, rock, scissors to decide to gets the fun bed.  Brittny,  with everyone staying in the same room you would save a little money.

Truthfully I can't predict what the prices may be next year, but I do know that I love visiting in September after most school-aged children have started another year of education.   The parks are less crowded, and the weather is very manageable. I think it is a great time to visit.   Another great time are the first weeks in December as most families will travel during the Christmas holiday instead of the beginning of the month.  I have traveled many time the first week in December and have really enjoyed how nice it was.

Whatever you decide, I know you will have a magical vacation.   Please stop by again with any other questions you may have about your upcoming Walt Disney World adventure.
