We are planning a trip for mid-Dec. I'm trying to decide between CBR and Port Orleans. We are a couple in their early 30s with no kids and this is my husband's first trip to Disney. Can you give me any insights to might help me come to a decision? Thanks!

    Hi Erin!

It sounds like you're planning a wonderful trip! I love Disney World in early to mid-December! Crowds are generally lower, the weather has cooled off from the summer heat waves, and the holiday decorations are spectacular!

Since you are two adults traveling, I'm going to give Port Orleans a huge endorsement for one main reason: boat transportation to Downtown Disney! Both Caribbean Beach Resort and the Port Orleans resorts are beautiful, but the quick boat access to dining, shopping and activities at Downtown Disney may be perfect for you! On early park days, a nice dinner, dessert or hot air balloon ride can make an evening magical!

In addition, you'll be able to explore both resorts at Port Orleans: Riverside or French Quarter. A stroll through the grounds can be quite romantic!

Hope I've given you some good points to consider in your decision! Have a great trip!
