A royal hello, Kayla!
I have a little girl who wakes up in the morning and decides which of her favorite princesses she wants to dress like for the day. So it's safe to say that when we visited the Magic Kingdom on her birthday, seeing princesses was pretty high on our agenda.
The first thing that we did was to track down
The Royal Princess Processional. This cavalcade, or mini parade, winds its way through the Magic Kingdom several times a day. While the princesses are subject to change, we saw Tiana, Rapunzel, Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, Elena, and Merida. Not to mention the always magical Fairy Godmother!
I found that the number one way to catch this cavalcade was by checking the "Entertainment" times on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. I knew that the first parade was scheduled around the start time, so we just hung around and had a snack along the route, either in front of Cinderella Castle or near where the cavalcade begins in Frontierland.
The princesses also made a few pop-up appearances above the Main Street Train Station where they would wave at their adoring courtiers, so check back throughout the day to see if they are there.
You will also notice a few characters popping up all over Magic Kingdom, but my absolute favorite appearance happens behind Cinderella's Castle where you can see non-other than the original evil stepsisters heckling park guests.
To make my little princess's birthday extra special, we capped it off with dinner at
Cinderella's Royal Table! While the princesses are no longer in attendance, Cinderella did make an appearance to waive to her royal courtiers!
I just know that you have the most perfect princess-filled trip, Kayla! Please come back here if we can answer any other questions to make your day as magical as you are!
