We are planning a trip in May to utilize the free DP. We'd like to stay at a moderate resort, however would only be using 4 of the 7 table service meals. Can I use the remaining 3 table service meals for quick service instead? I don't want to waste them.

    Hi Melissa,

Way to go on getting in on the Disney Free DIning offer. It is a great promotion that they run and quite popular.

We often find we don't need all the credits that are offered and run in to the same issue where we would like to trade credits for counter services or snacks. I can tell you that there is no set Disney policy in regards to trading down on credits and using a Table Service option for a Counter Service meal. Most Counter Service locations however will accept your Table Service credit in payment of the meal. The best suggestion is to speak to the Cast Member at the Counter Service restaraunt prior to ordering your meal to make sure they will accept this payment. We typically have not had a problem.
