Hi, Karen! When we go to Walt Disney World, the room is often just a place
to sleep. Value Resorts serve that purpose at a reasonable cost. The
Pop Century Resort
is a favorite Value Resort for adults and kids alike. It is bright and
lively for children, but it is also a stroll down memory lane for
adults. If
you are looking for more time at the resort and less time in the parks,
then I would consider upgrading to a Moderate Resort.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a favorite. If you are wanting to get the most possible out of a resort and the budget allows a Deluxe resort, then the
Polynesian Resort
is the one for you. It is my family's all-time favorite resort! It
has great atmosphere, a great pool, and location, location, location! Although Epcot is our family's favorite park, there is a lot for a your child to do at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It would probably be my choice for a five-year-old. Riding the Toy
Story Mania! attraction and seeing the Beauty and the Beast show and the
Voyage of the Little Mermaid are just the first three to spring to
mind. Phineas and Ferb, Lightning McQueen and Mater, the Muppets, and the Disney Junior characters are there as well. Happy planning and have a
Magical vacation!
