Hello, planning a trip March 2016 and was wondering about the bus pick-ups at the Moderate hotels. Are there multiple bus stops at all of the Moderate hotels? We are looking for a one stop shop like Animal Kingdom or The Art of Animation. Suggestions?

    Hi Jennifer,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We're so happy to hear from you again with another great question!

While each of the Moderate Resort Hotels has its own distinct theming, amenities and benefits, there is only one that can say it has just one bus stop - Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter.  The reason for this is that it also happens to be the smallest (and quietest) of the Moderates, meaning it will take you just a few minutes to walk anywhere on the grounds, be it your room, the lobby, food court, boat dock or bus stop.  The intimate setting is just one of the things that makes this my personal favorite of the Moderates, and one that I'd definitely recommend.  I also love the New Orleans theming, great food court (including some seriously delicious beignets - a must-try!), Doubloon Lagoon pool area and boat transportation to the Downtown Disney Area.

All of that being said, during some times of the year, French Quarter may share bus service with its neighbor, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.  While that can add some extra time onto your commute, I would still say the transportation is excellent.

I hope that helps with your planning, Jennifer, but please visit us again if we can help answer any other questions.

Wishing you a most magical vacation!
