Planning our trip for March of 2016, we will be booking our room, dining, and tickets all together however we're only planning on putting the deposit down on the room for right now. Do we need to have everything paid in full to make CDR? Thanks!

Hi, Megan! Thanks for stopping by with your question. You mentioned making a CDR, but I am thinking you may be talking about an ADR, known as Advance Dining Reservations. If I have misunderstood you, please let me know and we will dig a little further!

The balance of your Magic Your Way Package, which usually consists of a stay at one of the fabulous Walt Disney World Resort hotels, theme park tickets, and optional dining plan, will be due 45 days before the beginning of your vacation. A completely paid package balance is not required to make Advance Dining Reservations. All Walt Disney World Resort Guests can make Advance Dining Reservations up to 180 days in advance. However, as a Guest of one of the fabulous Walt Disney World Resort hotels, you will be able to complete these reservations for up to 10 days of your vacation all at one time, beginning 180 days before your check-in date. There are some restaurants that fill as soon as their dates open, so this 180 + 10 window can come in very handy!

I hope you have a magical vacation, Megan, and are able to make some delicious dining plans! You are welcome to be our Guest and stop by again if you think of any other questions as you continue to plan.
