We are planning a trip to Magic Kingdom in May. Our 1 yr old daughter has a strict diet (medical reasons) and we would need to bring food for her into the park. How are they at letting us bring food into the park now? They used to stop you at the gate?

Hi, Dianna!  You can absolutely bring food and drinks into the park for your daughter, but they do still require everyone going into the theme parks to stop and let security inspect your bags.  There are some rules that have to be followed, and you can find a list of what you can and cannot bring into the theme parks HERE .

Basically, you'll find limitations on the size of the cooler you can bring in with you, as well as rules such as no alcoholic beverages and no glass containers (except baby food and perfume).  I find that most people prefer the soft sided collapsible coolers, as they are lighter weight and easier to get around the theme parks.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation!
