Planning a trip and looking at 2/28/16-3/5/16. Number 1 priority is low crowds, followed by decent weather. Thoughts on pros/cons of that week? Guidance deeply appreciated - this will be our last WDW trip for a while and hoping to make it memorable! Thx!!

    Hi Lauren,
Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm a resident of Central Florida and I visit the Walt Disney World Resort often with my family since we're Annual Passholders. I think you have picked a fantastic week for both crowds and weather. You will beat most of the Spring Break rush by coming at the end of February/early March, it should not be too warm yet (since you're coming from Pennsylvania, I am sure you will welcome all the warmth you can get at that time of year), and you will be able to see one of my favorite special events-the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival! While this special event will draw more crowds into Epcot, if you visit during the week, you will avoid the large crowds that will arrive on the weekends. This is a beautiful event-so many flowers, topiaries and presentations PLUS some delicious food and drink to enjoy as you take in the floral views. Be sure your camera has extra memory (time to clear out all those old pictures), as you will want to take lots of photos during this event. I highly recommend a Wednesday or Thursday visit to this festival since you want to avoid large crowds.

I love some of the crowd calendars that are available online, such as the one on the Undercover Tourist website. They give a great visual representation of the best parks to visit on each day of your visit. I find it to be incredibly helpful for planning purposes.

Lauren, I hope this gives you the information you need to make your choice.  Please come see us again if you have any additional questions!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
