Dear Jessi,
Thank you so much for reaching out to us again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great planning question about considering your budget for your upcoming trip!
It can be a challenge to plan a budget for Walt Disney World Resort, but I assure you that there are many ways that you can plan a wide range of budgets and still have all of the magic that you are hoping for!
The first budget item is your choice of Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Choices range from value to deluxe, and in between. With a family of six, you might consider
Disney's Art of Animation Resort, that has incredible themed suites that will comfortably accommodate your entire family!
The next item to consider is your dining. Have you looked at the
Disney Dining Plan? It's a great way to be able to pre-pay your meals so that you don't have to worry about dining bills after vacation! It also helps you to plan your budget far in advance, as you wish to do.
If you are flying, start taking a look at those costs as soon as you can as well. Then, after flights, hotel, and dining, you need to consider souvenirs and extras. That's a very individual choice, as some families allow children to make larger purchases and some keep costs to a minimum. You might want to budget a fixed cost for each person's souvenirs and treats, and then stick to that budget. Extras such as the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique can be planned out in advance as well!
Hope that helps you to get a start on your magical planning!
